These Terms & Conditions, Assumption of Risk, Liability Waiver & Guest Agreement (“Terms”) apply to all To The Table Supper Series events, suppers, gatherings, tastings, dinners, farm events, and related experiences, whether ticketed, complimentary, private, public, or invitation-based.

By purchasing a ticket, registering for an event, attending an event, entering an event property, participating in any event activity, consuming food or beverages at an event, or using a ticket purchased or transferred by another person, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and any minor or guest for whom you purchased, transferred, or provided a ticket.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not purchase a ticket, attend the event, enter the property, or participate in the event.

1. About To The Table Supper Series

To The Table Supper Series is an informal, community-centered supper series created to celebrate local food, farms, makers, chefs, artisans, and meaningful connection around the table.

To The Table Supper Series is not currently organized as a corporation, limited liability company, nonprofit, or other formally registered legal entity. Events are organized by the individuals behind To The Table Supper Series, sometimes in collaboration with independent venues, farms, chefs, caterers, beverage providers, musicians, vendors, rental companies, sponsors, volunteers, and other third-party participants.

For purposes of these Terms, “To The Table,” “To The Table Supper Series,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer collectively to the event organizers, hosts, planners, volunteers, representatives, successors, assigns, and any individuals acting on behalf of To The Table Supper Series.

2. Ticket Purchase & Agreement to Terms

By purchasing, receiving, using, or transferring a ticket, you agree that:

• You have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.

• You are responsible for reviewing all event details before purchasing.

• You are responsible for sharing these Terms with any guest who uses a ticket purchased or provided by you.

• Any guest attending under your ticket purchase is also bound by these Terms.

• Attendance at the event constitutes acceptance of these Terms, even if the attendee did not personally purchase the ticket.

We reserve the right to deny entry or remove any guest from an event if the guest violates these Terms, behaves in a disruptive or unsafe manner, refuses to follow event instructions, appears intoxicated, attempts to provide alcohol to a minor, or creates a risk to themselves, other guests, vendors, hosts, staff, the venue, or the event.

3. Event Nature & Outdoor Conditions

To The Table events are often held outdoors, on farms, private properties, historic properties, rural venues, gardens, fields, barns, vineyards, open-air spaces, or other nontraditional event locations. These settings may include natural, uneven, unpredictable, or changing conditions.

By attending, you acknowledge and accept that event locations may include, but are not limited to:

• Uneven ground, grass, gravel, dirt, mud, sand, mulch, stone, pavement, stairs, slopes, holes, roots, or natural terrain

• Limited or changing lighting, including dusk or nighttime conditions

• Weather-related conditions, including rain, wind, heat, cold, humidity, wet surfaces, or slippery areas

• Tents, tent stakes, cords, ropes, lighting, heaters, fans, generators, tables, chairs, rental equipment, serving stations, décor, signage, glassware, utensils, or other temporary event infrastructure

• Animals, insects, bees, ticks, mosquitoes, pollen, plants, trees, crops, farm equipment, water features, fences, barns, outbuildings, and other rural or venue-specific conditions

• Limited access to paved walkways, elevators, climate control, or traditional indoor amenities

You are responsible for dressing appropriately, wearing suitable footwear, watching your step, using caution when moving around the venue, and determining whether the event setting is appropriate for your own health, mobility, comfort, and safety.

Sturdy, flat, weather-appropriate shoes are strongly recommended. High heels, delicate footwear, unstable shoes, or shoes unsuitable for outdoor terrain may increase your risk of injury.

4. Assumption of Risk

By attending a To The Table event, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with attendance and participation, including known and unknown risks, foreseeable and unforeseeable risks, and risks that may arise from the actions, inactions, negligence, or conduct of yourself, other guests, event organizers, venues, vendors, volunteers, contractors, or third parties.

These risks may include, but are not limited to:

• Slips, trips, falls, cuts, scrapes, bruises, burns, allergic reactions, food-related illness, insect bites, weather-related illness, property damage, personal injury, illness, or death

• Injury caused by uneven terrain, poor footing, wet or slippery surfaces, low lighting, tents, cords, stakes, tables, chairs, rental equipment, décor, serving stations, glassware, utensils, knives, food service items, or venue conditions

• Risks associated with consuming food, alcohol, non-alcoholic beverages, shellfish, meat, dairy, gluten, nuts, produce, or other ingredients

• Risks associated with outdoor dining, family-style service, shared tables, shared serving utensils, live fire cooking, hot food or beverages, glassware, knives, and other dining-related items

• Risks associated with transportation to and from the event, parking, walking between event areas, and entering or exiting the venue

You understand that no event can be made completely risk-free and that your attendance is voluntary.

5. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless To The Table Supper Series, its organizers, hosts, volunteers, representatives, affiliates, contractors, vendors, participating farms, venues, property owners, chefs, caterers, beverage providers, sponsors, musicians, rental companies, service providers, and any individuals or entities involved in planning, hosting, producing, sponsoring, supporting, or providing services for the event from and against any and all claims, liabilities, demands, causes of action, damages, losses, costs, or expenses arising out of or related to your attendance, participation, presence at the venue, use of event property, consumption of food or beverages, interaction with other guests, or participation in any event-related activity.

This release includes, but is not limited to, claims arising from personal injury, illness, death, emotional distress, property damage, theft, lost items, allergic reactions, food-related illness, alcohol-related incidents, weather-related incidents, venue conditions, transportation, or the actions or omissions of other guests, vendors, venues, contractors, or third parties.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to release any party from liability that cannot legally be released under applicable law.

6. Event Insurance

To The Table Supper Series may obtain event liability insurance for individual events and may include the venue, property owner, or other required parties as additional insureds when required or appropriate.

However, the existence of event insurance does not guarantee coverage for every claim, injury, loss, incident, person, party, or circumstance. Coverage is subject to the terms, limits, exclusions, conditions, and determinations of the applicable insurance policy and carrier.

By attending, you understand that event insurance is one layer of risk management and does not eliminate the risks associated with attending an outdoor food, beverage, farm, or supper event.

7. Independent Venues, Vendors & Third Parties

To The Table Supper Series events may involve independent third parties, including but not limited to farms, venues, property owners, chefs, caterers, oyster providers, beverage providers, bartenders, musicians, rental companies, florists, photographers, sponsors, and other vendors.

These third parties are independent and are not employees of To The Table Supper Series unless expressly stated otherwise. To The Table is not responsible for the independent actions, omissions, negligence, representations, policies, products, services, food, beverages, equipment, property conditions, staffing, or conduct of third-party vendors, venues, property owners, or guests.

Guests may be subject to additional rules, waivers, or requirements from the venue, farm, property owner, vendor, or service provider.

8. Food, Allergies & Dietary Restrictions

To The Table events typically feature curated, seasonal, chef-driven menus that may include locally sourced ingredients, shared courses, family-style service, shellfish, meat, dairy, gluten, nuts, eggs, soy, alcohol, and other common allergens.

By attending, you acknowledge and agree that:

• We may not be able to accommodate dietary restrictions, allergies, food sensitivities, religious dietary needs, medical diets, or personal preferences.

• Menus, ingredients, and preparation methods may change before or during the event.

• Food may be prepared in shared kitchens, outdoor kitchens, farm settings, mobile kitchens, vendor facilities, or other environments where cross-contact with allergens may occur.

• Family-style service, shared utensils, buffet-style service, passed items, chef stations, and communal dining may increase the possibility of cross-contact.

• It is your responsibility to determine whether the event is safe and appropriate for your dietary, allergy, medical, or personal needs.

Guests with severe allergies, food sensitivities, medical dietary restrictions, or other concerns should contact us before purchasing a ticket. However, contacting us does not guarantee that accommodations can or will be made.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume all risks related to food, beverages, ingredients, allergens, cross-contact, food preparation, and consumption at the event.

9. Alcohol Policy

To The Table events include wine, beer, cocktails.

 By attending, you agree that:

• You must be 21 years of age or older to consume alcohol.

• You may be required to show valid government-issued photo identification.

• We, the venue, bartender, beverage provider, or event staff reserve the right to refuse alcohol service to any guest for any reason, including but not limited to lack of valid identification, visible intoxication, disruptive behavior, unsafe conduct, or suspected underage drinking.

• Guests may not provide alcohol to minors.

• Guests may not bring outside alcohol unless expressly permitted in writing.

• Guests are responsible for drinking responsibly and arranging safe transportation.

• We reserve the right to remove any guest who appears intoxicated, unsafe, disruptive, or in violation of alcohol policies.

To The Table Supper Series is not responsible for any guest’s decision to consume alcohol, drive after consuming alcohol, provide alcohol to another person, or engage in unsafe or unlawful conduct.

10. Guest Conduct & Responsibility

Guests are expected to behave respectfully, responsibly, and safely.

By attending, you agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, endanger, or disrupt other guests, vendors, hosts, staff, volunteers, or venue representatives

• Damage property, equipment, décor, rentals, crops, plants, animals, or venue grounds

• Enter restricted, private, staff-only, kitchen, farm, storage, parking, or vendor areas

• Touch, move, use, or interfere with event equipment, cooking equipment, knives, open flames, heating elements, vehicles, farm equipment, animals, décor, rental items, or vendor property unless expressly invited to do so

• Bring weapons, illegal substances, outside alcohol, or hazardous items

• Ignore safety instructions, posted signs, verbal guidance, or venue rules

You are responsible for your own conduct and for any damage, injury, loss, or expense caused by you or any guest attending under a ticket purchased or provided by you.

11. Knives, Glassware, Serving Items & Dining Equipment

To The Table events may include standard dining utensils, knives, glassware, serving utensils, plates, hot food, beverages, candles, heaters, open flames, chef stations, or other dining-related items.

Guests are responsible for using all utensils, glassware, serving items, and dining equipment safely and appropriately.

Guests may not use, handle, move, or access chef knives, oyster knives, carving knives, kitchen tools, open flames, grills, cooking equipment, heating elements, or vendor equipment unless expressly permitted by event staff or the responsible vendor.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, guests assume all risks associated with the use or presence of utensils, knives, glassware, serving items, hot food, beverages, cooking equipment, flames, and event materials.

12. Weather, Cancellation & Event Changes

To The Table events are often held outdoors and may proceed rain or shine unless conditions are deemed unsafe or impractical by the organizers, venue, or relevant authorities.

We reserve the right to cancel, postpone, relocate, reschedule, modify, or adjust any event due to weather, venue conditions, vendor availability, safety concerns, low attendance, illness, emergency, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our control.

Event details, including but not limited to menu, chefs, vendors, beverage partners, musicians, schedule, seating, location, layout, and programming, are subject to change without notice.

13. Refunds & Transfers

All ticket sales are final unless otherwise stated in writing.

Tickets are non-refundable due to guest cancellation, illness, weather, travel issues, scheduling conflicts, dietary restrictions, allergy concerns, dissatisfaction with event changes, or failure to attend.

If an event is postponed or rescheduled, tickets may be transferred to the new date at our discretion. If a guest cannot attend a rescheduled date, refund or credit options, if any, will be determined at the sole discretion of To The Table Supper Series.

Tickets may not be resold for more than the original purchase price. We reserve the right to refuse entry to any guest using a ticket that appears to have been improperly transferred, resold, duplicated, or obtained through unauthorized means.

14. Photography, Video & Media Release

By attending a To The Table event, you grant To The Table Supper Series, its organizers, photographers, videographers, vendors, sponsors, partners, and representatives the right to photograph, film, record, and otherwise capture your image, likeness, voice, name, and participation at the event.

You authorize us to use, reproduce, publish, display, distribute, edit, and share such content for marketing, promotional, editorial, social media, website, advertising, press, archival, and other lawful purposes without compensation, approval, or further notice.

If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please notify us in writing before the event and again at check-in. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests but cannot guarantee that you will not appear in background or crowd images.

15. Accessibility & Medical Considerations

Because many To The Table events are hosted at farms, private properties, outdoor venues, or nontraditional event spaces, accessibility may vary by event.

Guests are responsible for reviewing event details and contacting us before purchasing tickets if they have mobility concerns, medical conditions, accessibility needs, pregnancy-related concerns, allergy concerns, or other health considerations that may affect their ability to safely attend.

We will make reasonable efforts to provide available information about terrain, parking, restrooms, seating, and event conditions, but we cannot guarantee that every event location will be accessible or appropriate for every guest.

In the event of a medical emergency, you authorize To The Table Supper Series, event staff, venue representatives, vendors, or other attendees to seek emergency medical assistance on your behalf. You are solely responsible for any medical costs, transportation costs, or related expenses.

16. Personal Property

Guests are responsible for their own personal belongings.

To The Table Supper Series, event organizers, venues, vendors, property owners, volunteers, and representatives are not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged personal items, including but not limited to phones, bags, wallets, clothing, jewelry, cameras, keys, vehicles, or other belongings.

17. Parking & Transportation

Parking may take place on grass, gravel, dirt, fields, driveways, roadsides, farm areas, or other nontraditional parking surfaces. Guests assume all risks associated with parking, walking to and from parking areas, and transportation to and from the event.

Guests are responsible for arranging safe transportation, including designated drivers, rideshare services, or other transportation options if consuming alcohol.

18. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless To The Table Supper Series, its organizers, hosts, volunteers, representatives, affiliates, venues, property owners, vendors, sponsors, contractors, and service providers from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, expenses, or attorney’s fees arising out of or related to:

• Your attendance or participation in the event

• Your violation of these Terms

• Your conduct or misconduct

• Your failure to follow event rules, safety instructions, alcohol policies, or venue requirements

• Your provision of a ticket to another guest

• Any injury, damage, or loss caused by you or a guest attending under a ticket purchased or provided by you

19. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, To The Table Supper Series and its organizers, hosts, volunteers, representatives, affiliates, venues, property owners, vendors, sponsors, contractors, and service providers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, exemplary, or emotional distress damages arising out of or related to the event, ticket purchase, attendance, participation, cancellation, postponement, venue conditions, food or beverage service, vendor conduct, weather, or any other event-related matter.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to limit liability where such limitation is prohibited by law.

20. Force Majeure

To The Table Supper Series shall not be responsible for cancellation, postponement, delay, relocation, modification, or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, fire, flood, illness, injury, death, pandemic, epidemic, government orders, emergency conditions, venue issues, vendor cancellations, power outages, transportation disruptions, supply shortages, labor issues, acts of God, acts of war, terrorism, civil unrest, or other events beyond our control.

21. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict of law principles.

To the extent any dispute is not subject to arbitration or small claims court, any legal action shall be brought in the appropriate state or federal court located in Maryland, and you consent to the jurisdiction and venue of such courts.

22. Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any formal legal proceeding, you agree to contact To The Table Supper Series in writing and attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

If the dispute cannot be resolved informally, the parties agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the matter through mediation before pursuing litigation, unless emergency injunctive relief or another immediate legal remedy is necessary.

At our discretion and to the extent permitted by law, disputes may be submitted to binding arbitration in Maryland. Each party shall bear its own attorney’s fees and costs unless otherwise required by law or awarded by the arbitrator or court.

23. Severability

If any portion of these Terms is found to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.

24. Updates to Terms

We reserve the right to update, revise, or modify these Terms at any time. The version posted on our website or provided at the time of ticket purchase or attendance will apply to the applicable event.
